I've been on vacation so there are several submissions that have expired, if you submitted something within the past three weeks and it still isn't up, please resubmit.

I apologize for this delay, I only expected to be away for about a week and a half, but some things have been getting in the way, but I'm back now.
I have had a huge influx of submissions.
And literally 80 percent of them this past 2 weeks are all in the wrong folders.
If it is an anime cosplay, anime manga folder, not animated movies!
If it's a preview to a costume, WIP/Tutorial, not say movies or video games for example.
If there are people in the background, if its a con picture, convention folder.

These are just some of the examples.

But please guys, pay attention to the folders you are submitting.

You can understand my frustration when about 80 percent of the submission in the past 2 weeks were all in wrong folders.

Please help me out here by at least paying attention.

I will not hit the "yes" button if submitted to the wrong folder, I will hit no.  You can submit it again, but in the correct folder.

Thank you for your time.
(Feedback is absolutely needed, All Group Members Please Respond)

Hey guys, we're seriously starting to grow, and I was musing over the idea of a possible contest, that I've seen a few other fanclubs do.

Should we do a contest?

Now I can't exactly hand out Deviantpoints or any other fabulous prizes.

But the idea of this contest, is a "Cosplay of the Month" contest, if popular enough and we get enough votes, I may possibly do more contests like this in the future.
The idea is we'd have a folder superficially for the "Cosplay of the Month" submissions that everyone can vote on, and the winner, well?  I thought of making a very specific folder reserved only for contest winner photos.

And also, like I've seen in other clubs, I'll interview the winner, and the interview will be posted here on the club journal.

Also, if our first contest (which will be a "cosplay of the month" contest), goes over pretty well, I might even in the future do a "New Group Icon" contest!

But of course it depends on you guys and your participation.

Now for rules, pending, I need feedback first after all, because if no one wants a contest or is even willing to respond we won't do a contest.

Once I get enough feedback as desired, I'll make the folder for the contest and post the rules and further information about the first contest in the next journal entry.
I accidentally deleted some entries by mistake before submitting, because I was cleaning some other things out of the group inbox.

So if you would please, if you submitted anything recently, please do so again, and I will this time actually pay attention when I'm deleted old messages, and not accidentally delete new ones.

Sorry.

Also new members, don't forget to read the rules, it's in this group's first journal entry.

Welcome to the Lovers-of-Cosplay club!

The main rules here are followed...

1-Be nice.  No one likes a rude person, cosplay is fun and should be appreciated by all, no matter who you are.  Respect others.

2-Submit to the correct folders.  Please and thank you.  It's annoying to have to move photos, if photos are posted in the wrong folders far too many times after my first warning, I will be forced to take action.

3-If the photos are con photos (like a lot of people in the background), or are of grainy or blurry quality, I'm not like other cosplay groups that will turn your photo down...however all these types of photos MUST be uploaded to the "Convention" folder.
Yes even the grainy or blurry photos (yes they might not have people or be at a con), but the other folders are for at least decent quality pictures.
I will accept even the not so great quality, but they must be in the Convention folder.
Though there is one exception, if it is a WIP picture or a wig/prop/cosplay accessory picture...I will allow it to be submitted to the Props and WIP folders respectively.
But that is my only exception to this rule.

4-No nudity pictures of any kind.

5-No stolen cosplay pictures.  If the cosplayer isn't you, then you either must credit them, or have their permission to use their photo.

Any of the following rules above disregarding after 3 warnings will be met with immediate action.  I don't like the idea of having to ban anyone, but I will do it if it is necessary.

Also...

6-Have fun! Seriously, this is a group where you can show off your cosplay and enjoy seeing the works of others too.  Let's have some fun okay?

The bigger the group gets, I'll obviously have to change and add some rules...TBC

Also, If you wish to affiliate, no prob!  Just send me a message with your group icon, and I'll add you guys ^_^
